Department Results: How to tell whether we are meeting our goals

The executive branch of Minnesota state government is led by the Governor, 25 cabinet level commissioners and more than 1,300 managers - all charged with making sure that government provides what citizens need and want.

Each department has identified a few performance measurements to show whether they are getting results. The measures don’t always tell the whole story about progress, but they can serve as indicators of success.
